Terms of Trade

1. Application of Terms

These Terms of Trade apply to all goods and services provided by Trimfix Limited (“Trimfix”, “we”, “us”, “our”) to any customer (“you”, “your”), unless otherwise agreed in writing. By engaging Trimfix’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are based on the information provided and may change if the scope of work changes or unforeseen damage is found.

Prices exclude GST unless otherwise specified.

Travel charges or call-out fees may apply outside standard service areas.

3. Booking and Cancellations

Bookings are confirmed once scheduled by Trimfix.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. 

4. Payment Terms

Retail customers: Payment is due on completion of work, unless otherwise agreed.

Trade accounts: Payment is due by the 20th of the month following the invoice date.

Payments may be made by bank transfer or credit card (surcharges may apply).

Trimfix reserves the right to charge interest at 2% per month on overdue amounts and recover all collection costs, legal fees, and disbursements incurred in recovering any outstanding debt.

5. Ownership and Risk

All goods remain the property of Trimfix until payment is received in full.

Risk passes to you upon delivery or completion of the work.

Trimfix reserves the right to remove or repossess any goods not paid for in full.

6. Workmanship and Warranty

Trimfix guarantees its workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion, under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

- Fair wear and tear

- Further damage caused by misuse, neglect, or poor maintenance

- Deterioration due to environmental exposure (UV, heat, chemicals, etc.)

Any warranty claim must be made in writing with proof of purchase.

7. Limitation of Liability

Trimfix’s liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for those services.

Trimfix is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of income, vehicle downtime, or resale value.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You must ensure vehicles, furniture, or items are accessible and ready for repair.

Trimfix takes reasonable care during work but is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or items left unattended.

If repairs are performed on-site, you must provide safe access and power if required.

9. Disputes

Any dispute must be raised in writing within 7 days of completion or invoice date.

Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before taking further action.

10. Privacy

Trimfix collects and stores customer information solely for business purposes such as quotations, invoicing, and communication.

Your information will not be shared with third parties except as required for debt collection or as required by law.

11. Force Majeure

Trimfix will not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to causes beyond its control, including weather, illness, supply delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12. Amendments

Trimfix may update these Terms of Trade from time to time. The latest version will always be available at www.trimfix.co.nz or provided on request.

Acceptance

By requesting or accepting Trimfix’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Trade.
